Random points of life: Nearing 200 watchers on furaffinity, what what. I'm popular on the internet!11!one Steph gave me a feggin 55 gallon aquarium, I swear to shit she spoils me. I really should declare my major soon. I kind of want to major in geology, but haven't a clue what I'd do with it.
Ayup, might as well make it official, I think for the most part I'm making this journal friends-only. Stalkers are not good times. One in particular. *shudder* Hello, cupcake. Comment here to be added.
Psychoanalyze Yourself. Answer the following questions with the first thought that comes to mind. Then read which each answer means. (No cheating! ) best way to do this is to just copy the questions first then look under the cut and copy the answers later.
1. You are not alone. You are walking in the woods. With who? ...*cheeseball* The first thing that comes to your mind? I got this sort of. Fairy tail wolf companion thing.
2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal is it? ...*looks up* ...Well um! After that, owl.
3. What interaction do you have with this animal? I watch him.
4. You walk deeper in the woods. You enter a clearing and before you is your dream house. Describe it. A relatively small, cozy, and eco-friendly house with a huge garden and a field behind it.
5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence? The field is for the sake of whatever animals I have. :)
6. You enter the house. You walk in to the dining room and see the dining room table. What do you see on AND around it? In the center is a gorgeous flower arrangement. The area around the table's pretty free, though I think there's a display cabinet nearby. I'm not sure what it's displaying.
7. You exit the house and a cup is on the ground, what kind is it? A wooden mug.
8. What do you do with the cup? Inspect it, wash it out, keep it to store things in.
9. You walk to the edge of the property where you find yourself standing at the edge of a body of water. what kind of body of water is it? A gently flowing creek with a few little waterfalls.
10. How will you cross the water? Hopping across some smooth, easy-to-stand-on stones.
I got a new My Little Pony recently, named "Lily Lightly," apparently, of a different make than most I've seen. Sweet pony, eh? Can't say I'm impressed with her sense of fashion, though. However, the velcro thingies go under her belly to make the dress snug. And the dress lights up. As does her horn. In fact, not only does her horn light up, but she BLINKS. A BLINKING PONY. A BLINKING MY LITTLE PONY. As I said, though, I was none too impressed with her fashion, and that dress looks uncomfortable, anyhow. It didn't occur to me at the time exactly -how- the dress lights up. What with my pony greeting festivities occuring at around midnight, I was tired and figured the dress was tied to her to hide the battery door on the side of her butt without the tattoo, or some other aesthetic purpose. Alas, as I untied and attempted to lift her dress- Wires. Wires. OUT OF HER BACK. IS THAT NOT TERRIFYING. WHY ARE WIRES GROWING OUT OF THE POOR PONY'S BACK. WHY. A warning on the back which I noticed far too late. I am so depressed. :( Life has been handed a hard, hard beginning for Lily Lightly.
If I do not meet my next, self-appointed writing goal (30,000 words by Valentine's Day,) Emily will get to chomp the crap outta me. ............. *cries, opens up word proccessing*
To sate my need to go on about a lot of nothing without flooding peoples' friends lists (too much >_>) and boring them to death, I've created a new LJ, tread_serenity, for the purpose of going on about things like "I saw a flower and it was pretty duuur." XD Good times.
Horomones. Depression. Social paranoia. Send halp plz. Or cheesecake. Mmm cheesecake. (EDIT: WTF? Why was this posted as a Jan 5 entry? XD I AM POSTING FROM THE FUTURE K)
H'okay. As most of you know, I don't tend to be very enthusiastic about impending trips down south to visit family (Alabama and North Carolina, respectively.) I hate leaving my animals in someone else's care, especially for an extended period of time, and I fit in with most of my family like an ugly duckling in a box of Legos.
Stay with me, here.
However, I'll be returning on the second of January and I've got some things keepin' me going... music, books, video games, and of course my trusty laptop, among them. Gots some pictures of various friends on my cell to take a look-see at when I'm lonely, and I've been wearing a (cyoooot) pair of chick earrings given to me for Chrimmus by odd_thought, who tends to make me feel rather "zomg p0n1ez!!! n__n"
Hello thar. It is 3:20 am. Despite the fact that my nightmares are starting to pop up when I nap during the daytime, that's a walk in the park considering they're still nearly -consuming- my sleep at night. I am procrastinating sleep. Part of my plan for procrastinating sleep is to spend time posting this message on my livejournal about procrastinating sleep. That is all.
Social Liberal You scored 76% Personal Liberty and 25% Economic Liberty!
A social liberal believes in little to moderate government intervention on personal matters and moderate to high government intervention on economic matters. They tend to be opposed to war, police powers, victimless crimes, and what they may consider to be a corporate state or rogue capitalism. They generally support personal liberty and believe in a social safety net or welfare state. They support self-ownership and privacy. Social liberals are essentially the "mainstream" left and left of center.
My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
I'm having -so- much fun with my part in Waiting For Godot, and I'm getting more confident pretty quickly, knock on wood.
I'm tewtally kicking ass in Japanese 1. Oh yeah. u.u ...But seriously, fuck katakana in the ear.
I have been sooo fuckin' tired, mein.
I'm shocked and almost a bit startled by the sheer number and volume of complaints I've been hearing about a former friend without me saying a thing to put it in motion. O.o;;
Brownie seems to age faster by the month, and it's starting to really get to me... :\ I'd always heard that Brittanys were known to have a fairly short lifespan, but he always seemed so healthy that I just couldn't see him -not- aging slower than Brittanys tend to age. Now, he's approaching... about 10, I think? ...And his senses, arthritis, skin... it's all going downhill. ...Mmm. :\
I wonder if I have that seasonal affective thingy. ...Oh lord, just what I need, eh? XD;; BUT! I'm excited about the holidays despite inevitable trip to visit family (I really wish I could spend -one- Christmas at home.. :\)
I think the socktopus (like a sock monkey, only an octopus) Steph gave me has properties as a muse. I plan to test this theory.
I'm not looking forward very much to this Monday. The GLBT meetings have been very frustrating... a handful of people have been behaving in a very disruptive manner and up until now I haven't done much except sort of try to talk over them and go "Guys... guys, please be quiet and listen..."
I don't think I'm gonna do that this time. I worry about offending people, especially people I like, but this really isn't acceptable behavior. =\ I'm still not good at raising my voice or anything though... I'm actually considering bringing in a whistle if need be. If someone's being disruptive and refuses to quiet down, I'm telling them to leave.
Also, it's been pretty hard to find subject matter, not for a lack of topics, but for the fact that I'm getting so little input from the group on whatever I bring up. I'm beginning to get the feeling that I'm expected to be more of a lecturer than a discussion leader. @_@ So, I guess I'll give that a shot, though still leaving openings for people to talk... ...but in that case, I need to get a lot more things to talk about, considering it looks like I shouldn't be depending on the rest of the group to be talking. This is going to be a little difficult... it's such a broad spectrum, and thus far the most specific suggestion for a topic I've gotten has been "learning about gayness."
Oy.
I do appreciate the (non-disruptive) people who have been coming even if this isn't a very important area to them, though. It's very refreshing to see people wanting to open their minds.
